I Got Three of Six Baller League Predictions Right
After Baller League season two's opening matchday, I went back through my six predictions. I got three right and three wrong. I had backed 26ers against United, but my call on NDL versus N5 was way off: N5 beat us 3–1. It was a reminder that a team of strong individuals still needs time to play as a unit.
Wembley Rangers also surprised me against Depo Trio. Vision's draw with SDS showed they could compete with one of the established teams. MVPs got their win against Ruckus, and M7 versus Clutch gave me another result to check against my preview.
I finished by naming my standout goal, player and team from what I saw. N5 got my team of the night because of the way they handled the attention around our squad. Predictions are part of the fun, but reviewing why I got them wrong is how I learn what each team is actually becoming.
