Inside NDL’s Baller League Final Four
Twelve weeks of Baller League led us to the Final Four at the Copper Box. In this vlog, I take you behind the scenes as NDL prepare to face SDS, with the chance to reach the final on the line. The arena, the noise and the people around the competition made it a big occasion.
We did not get the ending we wanted. Looking back, I felt we could have done more both in the game and earlier in the season to put the outcome in our hands. There was a strange moment involving a whistle, but I do not want to use one incident to explain the result. In a close knockout match, the work you do before that moment matters too.
I still enjoyed being part of it. The video shows the build-up, the matchday atmosphere and my honest reaction afterwards. That mix of football and access is what makes this competition such an unusual experience for a player.
